Jonathan Colby was appointed Music Director and Conductor of the Farmington Valley Symphony Orchestra in May 2014.
Colby spent 15 seasons with the College Light Opera Company, where he earned the WISE Foundationas Cond conductor of the Year Award in 2013 for his direction of Die Fledermaus.
His conducting experience extends to a wide range of prestigious ensembles, including New York State School Music Association and Connecticut Music Educators Association.
